Before, I was no stranger to lifting weights, but I never knew the "science" behind it (things like progressive overload, compound exercises, etc).
After I graduated college, I started working full-time and felt overwhelmed by such a big change. Going from college to being an adult is a really tough transition. I was always tired and just wanted to relax after work.. The thought of getting up early and packing all my things to go to the gym before work?! Yeah right!
When the Blueprint to a Better You program started, I had just gotten back from a work trip and was exhausted and cranky. But I went to the gym anyway and killed my workout. That same week, a company that I previously interned for called to offer me a job position! But this was just another change to my daily schedule and routine. I pushed myself then, and started going to the gym at 5 AM. I'm honestly shocked that I did that, but now I'm an avid morning gym-goer!
Throughout all these changes within the past 8 weeks, I made myself and the gym a priority and it shows! I stopped making excuses for myself and made changes for the better. I'm so thankful I joined this challenge, it has truly changed my life.
Thank you for being such a great coach and for providing an incredible group of women who I can turn to for motivation and support. I knew I picked the right coach with you, Leah. I'm sad that BTABY is over, but I cannot wait to jump on board your next program. I'm just so, so happy now and I finally feel okay in my body.
